Fresca is a multifaceted hospitality project composed of three distinct yet interconnected spaces: Fresca Restaurant, Fresca Deli, and Fresca Cellar. Each zone has its own atmosphere, function, and aesthetic language, while all are united by a shared concept and a continuous creative dialogue between chef Natasha Berezova and wine expert and dealer Katerina Ternovskaya.

The project is located in the historic House of Marija Dimić (1911), designed by architect Dragutin Dimić. Marija Dimić was a remarkable woman of the early 20th century and the owner of a stone quarry from which the very material used to build the house was sourced. The building carries strong feminine symbolism — softness, elegance, and inner strength — qualities that became the foundation of the architectural approach to FRESCA.

In our work, we carefully preserved and reinterpreted this spirit of femininity, tenderness, and quiet power, allowing the building’s character to resonate through every space.

Fresca Restaurant

Fresca Restaurant is conceived as a fine dining experience, continuing the aesthetic lineage of the team’s previous project, Table 57. Selected vintage furniture pieces were brought into the new space, creating a sense of continuity, while the overall atmosphere was elevated to a more refined and sophisticated level.

A creamy beige palette was chosen for both walls and ceiling, forming an enveloping, immersive interior. The open kitchen becomes a central architectural feature, framed by an original portal with preserved historic reveals.

Lighting is intentionally restrained: only two vintage chandeliers descend from the ceiling, while all additional illumination is provided through discreet wall lighting in neutral tones, ensuring visual harmony and allowing the chandeliers to remain the focal point.

Fresca Deli

Fresca Deli represents the most democratic and youthful part of the project. Designed as a casual space for takeaway food, coffee, and relaxed seating on the terrace, it contrasts the restaurant through a more playful and informal language.

Here, we worked with green plywood, expressive textures, and visible constructions — including an exposed brick ceiling, lightboxes, and curtains — creating a vibrant and approachable atmosphere without losing architectural integrity.

Fresca Cellar

Fresca Cellar is a wine bar and tasting space curated by Katya Ternovskaya. It is the most raw, lively, and rock-and-roll area of the project. During demolition, original brickwork and stone from the building’s foundation were revealed and carefully preserved, forming the core material identity of the cellar.

The space is organized around an Enomatic system, which becomes both a functional and visual centerpiece. Fresca Cellar operates as a wine bar where guests can explore a wide range of wines through tasting, emphasizing openness, discovery, and movement.
